Chenal Valley, a sprawling development on the western edge of Little Rock, is made up of over 30 neighborhoods centered around the Chenal Country Club, which offers two Robert Trent Jones golf courses.  The developer, Deltic Timber Corporation, envisioned a lovely suburban community with homes of all price ranges.  The community, which began development around 1990, has seen steady growth due to the popularity of the home styles, attractive and functional common areas, and of course the amenities of a golf course community.

Several of the neighborhoods are gated and many have golf course frontage or access.  All are designed with specific building requirements and price points to accommodate many types of buyers.  There are condominiums and patio homes as well as large estate properties.  Chenal Valley allows property owners access to three community pools as well as parks and playgrounds.  All neighborhoods have annual property owner dues.

Chenal Valley is close to great shopping including all of the large chain stores in west Little Rock and many excellent restaurants.  With the opening of The Promenade, there are even more wonderful choices for dining including Local Lime, Yaya’s, and Bravo Italian and for shopping like the Apple Store, Anthropologie, and Ann Taylor Loft.  The Promenade at Chenal also features a movie theater with IMAX screen.

Chenal Valley homes are mostly brick and range in price from $250,000 to over a million dollars.  It is very much the wonderful modern community that the developers envisioned. See current listings in Chenal Valley below.
